Pocket-DVD Studio is an application that lets you record video from your DVD movies and wmv, avi, mpg, mpeg, rm, rmvb, Tivo2go, dvr-ms, mov video files to AVI, WMV formats compatible with portable devices such as Pocket PC, Smart phones, Portable Media Center, Palm, Archos, Creative Zen.
Features of this program include the ability to configure advanced settings such as frame rate, bit rate, brightness, codec, audio sampling, channels, and volume. You can also set output resolution, and choose audio and video quality levels according to the file size you prefer.
Additionally, this program presents a batch conversion tool with limited features when you need to process multiple simultaneous files and don't need to edit them.
Editing tools present in this software include crop to remove undesired parts of the screen (like for instance black bars), and trim to let you set start and end points of a clip or segment to record. When ripping a DVD you can select audio track and subtitle.
